I wish I had known how challenging and demanding Anaesthesia residency would be, but also how much it would teach me to stay calm, think quickly, and make decisions under pressure.
I chose Anaesthesia because it combines physiology, pharmacology, critical care, and practical procedures. I enjoy the combination of intellectual decision-making and hands-on skills, along with the responsibility of managing patients during critical moments. It also offers a wide variety of cases and the opportunity to make an immediate difference in patient care.
