Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Resilink collects, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework.

1. What we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and — for students — NEET year, score range, and specialty preference; for advisors, professional profile details (branch, institute, seniority, bio).
  • Usage data: the counselling tools you run (rank analytics, branch forecasts, seat chances), choice lists, saved items, and forum activity.
  • Transaction data: the plan or session you bought and its status. Card / UPI details are handled by Razorpay — we never store them.
  • Survey data (residents): RRIS responses, which are shown to other users only in de-identified, aggregated form.

2. How we use it

To run and personalise the product (tools, recommendations, tier entitlements), to schedule and deliver advisor sessions, to process payments, to send transactional messages, and to keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what a task needs, with processors bound to protect it:

  • Razorpay — to process payments, refunds, and payouts.
  • LiveKit — to host in-app 1-on-1 sessions.
  • MSG91 / WhatsApp & email providers — to send reminders, confirmations, and updates.

4. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (a secure, HTTP-only session cookie) and for keeping you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

5. Security, retention & deletion

Data is protected with encryption in transit and access controls. When you delete your account, we soft-delete it and anonymise the personal fields on your profile (name, email, and contact numbers are scrubbed) while retaining the minimum business records the law requires. Aggregated, de-identified data may be retained.

6. Your rights

You can access and correct your profile data in Account, manage notification preferences, and request deletion of your account. To exercise any DPDP right, or to raise a grievance, contact our Grievance Officer through the Contact page.

7. Children

Resilink is intended for medical graduates and PG aspirants and is not directed at children.

We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or by email.
